Join our healthcare management company as a Data Engineering and Machine Learning Intern where you will work on developing an Internal Dashboard Reporting Website and contributing to our Revenue Prediction Project. Project Details:
- Internal Dashboard Reporting Website: This project aims to enhance our organization’s decision-making capabilities by maintaining our Azure financial dashboard into a comprehensive website. You will assist in automating data workflows, enabling real-time access to key financial metrics and reports.
- Revenue Prediction Project: This project focuses on predicting future revenue across different states, utilizing historical data to inform business strategy. Your contributions will involve data preparation, model support, and generating insights that help guide our company’s growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Data Integration: Assist in integrating data from Azure PostgreSQL databases into the internal reporting system using Python. You’ll help ensure accurate and timely data flow for reporting.
- Website Maintenance: Help with the maintenance of a website with Python Django web framework, making it easier for stakeholders to understand key insights.
- Machine Learning Model: Design and implement machine learning models, exploratory analysis, and statistical evaluation to identify trends and support predictive modeling efforts. You will be involved in analyzing revenue patterns and generating actionable insights.
- Testing and Debugging: Assist in testing the dashboard and integrated systems for performance and accuracy. This includes troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring data integrity throughout the reporting process.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python Pandas and NumPy; experience with machine learning is a plus.
- Familiarity in the Django web framework and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with SQL databases and data management practices; experience with Azure databases is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or similar dashboard creation tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with good communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
